This special session will focus on heterogeneous integration of semiconductor chiplets and components realized with different technologies. The scope will be on photonic-electronic heterogeneous integration and Silicon and III-V semiconductor heterogeneous integration.

The Session will present results on device, component and system level. Application areas are high performance computing and radar sensing. Most of the papers can be associated with the recent focus of the European Union on semiconductor sovereignty within the Chips Act and have been supported by several Chips JU projects.
