Rising Generation
Students & YPs
MRW2026 is happy to host “Ask Us Anything” (AUA) session, envisaged and organised by the IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society. The AUA inititaive creates a bias-free, multi-disciplinary, inter-sectorial, and inter-generation forum, open and supportive to everyone. If you are troubled, confused, or simply intrigued, and unsure where, when and whom to address with your questions – please come and join us!
The MRW2026- IEEE MTT-S AUA Session will be held at the conference venue, on Wednesday, 20 May 2026, 16:10-17:50.
It will then smoothly evolve into a YP Social Event!
Microwave and Radar Week warmly welcomes Students and Young professionals to submit papers, give presentations, and/or attend and enjoy networking with the MRW community.
Several options are already in place (and more under development) to facilitate your participation and make the most of it:
1. Participate in the Young Scientists Contest
The Young Scientist Contest is traditionally organised at MIKON and IRS conferences. Many of the previous awardees are now well-established professionals and regular participants in the MRW program. Consider using this opportunity to expose your research to a more detailed review by experts in the field. And if you win, the award will be handed to you by a representative of one of the prestigious award-funding institutions (to be announced later), in front of your colleagues and supervisors, during the Closing Ceremony.
2. Cheer your colleagues at the Awards Ceremony of the Best Master’s Thesis Competition
The Best Master Thesis Competition is biannually organised by the AES/AP/MTT Joint Chapter, Poland Section of IEEE. The competition is independent from MRW, but the Awards Ceremony takes place during the MRW Banquet. Come to cheer and congratulate your colleagues – take this opportunity to network and discuss how the quality and visibility of your own work can be enhanced!
